These Spanish language lessons were created by Sunrise Language Solutions (SLS). SLS served on the Education Committee of the Greater Houston Builders Association (GHBA) and created a Jobsite Spanish Program for the Association.

The residential construction industry has a problem for both English and Spanish-speaking employers, employees, trade partners, and subcontractors. The Hispanic influence and benefit to the North American home builder segment is not going away and not to be underestimated. But how can builders profit from this situation if they cannot communicate some of the basic, let alone advanced, communication issues prevalent and ubiquitous on jobsites?

The objective of these lessons is to provide basic language skills for individuals, Owners, Project Managers, Superintendents and others in the construction industry to be able to communicate effectively with Spanish-speaking employees, subcontractors and trade partners, on, about, and related to issues on the jobsite, so you can build your projects as profitably, safely and as quickly as possible

There are 12 themed units to download at your convenience and practice at your own pace (only 2 downloads each allowed). Each lesson is uniquely designed to give you the basic language skills to use on the jobsite.

Private 20-minute Zoom tutoring sessions are available.
